winter into summer drink transition

what you need:
  • fresh peppermint leaves
  • 1,5 l water
  • icecubes
  • a kettle
  • a pitcher

what you do:
  • wash peppermint leaves and put in pitcher
  • get water to boil and pour it over the leaves
  • let that sit for 5-10 minutes
  • fill glass with ice cubes and tea
  • you could also add a dash of lemon

We are growing peppermint in our garden and the plants are exploding right now! I usually only drink tea during fall/winter time but I thought why not use them for a cool summer drink? I wasn't sure at first if cold peppermint tea would be any good but it really is :)
