- fresh peppermint leaves
- 1,5 l water
- icecubes
- a kettle
- a pitcher
what you do:
- wash peppermint leaves and put in pitcher
- get water to boil and pour it over the leaves
- let that sit for 5-10 minutes
- fill glass with ice cubes and tea
- you could also add a dash of lemon
We are growing peppermint in our garden and the plants are exploding right now! I usually only drink tea during fall/winter time but I thought why not use them for a cool summer drink? I wasn't sure at first if cold peppermint tea would be any good but it really is :)
