DIY healthy breakfast

I'm not a big fan of eating toast or bread or whatever for breakfast. I prefer yummy granola with milk or yogurt. But sometimes I need a break from that too, or just want a healthy snack.
That's when I try different kinds of smoothies. Here's my favorite one:

what you need:
  • one banana (you can peel and freeze it beforehand, if you like)
  • milk or juice
  • frozen raspberries
what you do:
  • peel and slice (at least a bit) the banana
  • put it in the blender together with the raspberries and some milk/juice
  • blend it really well! if necessary, add some more milk/juice until the smoothie is of a consistency you like (if it's too thick, it might be difficult to drink)

This is as filling as any other breakfast. Of course you can use different kinds of fruits and adapt this recipe to your personal taste! And surely you don't have to use frozen fruits if this is too cold for you during wintertime. Fresh fruits work just as good :)

Bon appétit!
