- a cupful of rice (where I live we got a special sort of rice for making rice pudding)
- 1 liter of milk
- 5-10g vanilla sugar
- a small pat of butter
- cinnamon
- fruits
what you do:
- pour milk into pot, mix it with butter and vanilla sugar
- bring to a brief boil
- then add rice and let that simmer for a while (usually takes me about 20-30 minutes)
- stir it now and then and check if the rice is already soft enough
- today I had my rice pudding with grapes and pineapple, so I washed the grapes and chopped the pineapple in the meantine
- in case you never chopped a pineapple yourself before, here's a quick introduction:
- take a big knife and cut off top, bottom and all the brown stuff in between that
- cut what's left into slices of 1-2cm thickness
- remove the round hard thing in the middle with a smaller knife and chop the rest into pieces
- when the rice pudding is all done, add loads and loads of cinnamon to yummy-fy it even more :)
