my first green smoothie recipe

what you need:
  • about 200g grapes
  • a handful of spinach
  • 1/4 honeydew melon

what you do:
  • chop melon roughly
  • clean spinach and remove stems
  • put both in the blender with grapes and blend
  • if you like you can add some water for a more liquid-y consistency, but thanks to the melon, it should already be quite liquid




I wanted to try a green smoothie for quite a while now, but I have to say that I was kind of scared of it. Frankly, the green color in this context is not appealing to me at all. Plus I was sure that the ingredients I would mix would taste funny in that combination. This is actually why I went so easy with the spinach and used a lot more fruits. The result was that I could barely taste any of the spinach but mostly the grapes.
