- 4 tomatoes
- 1 fennel
- oil
- 1 shallot
- basil, pepper, sugar, salt
- a little cream (optional)
what you do:
- chop shallot and tomatoes finely
- fry shallot in a little oil and add tomatoes
- add pepper, basil, salt, sugar and cream and let that simmer
- chop fennel in the meantime and add to the sauce
- let that simmer until fennel is done
- serve with whatever pasta you like
